Along with Caron Wheeler (Soul II Soul) and Carol Simms (Kofi), Pauline Catlin Reid formed the legendary Lovers Rock group BROWN SUGAR in the late 1970's. Lovers Rock classics such as 'Black Pride', 'I'm In Love With A Dreadlocks', 'Hello Stranger' and more were released between 1977-1980.
Soul Jazz Records released an essential compilation of Brown Sugar's rare singles and exclusive dubs and mixes in 2018.
